Day 1 

Tournus : guided tour in the "Abbaye Saint Philibert" : Masterpiece of the Romanesque Art OR visit of the "Hôtel Dieu", hospital in the XVII and XVIII centuries. 

Got to Chalon sur Sâone with a barge :
Lunch on board - 11:45 am : Embarkation for a small cruise along the Saône. You will appreciate the changing landscapes of the Saône, while savoring the chef's specialties.

Afternoon :
Guided tour in the Castle in Couches, built on its pink granite base, this fortified castle, a sign of power and wealth, has constantly been transformed throughout its history. (1H / 1:30 hour) 

Dinner and overnight in Hotel. 

Day 2 :

After the breakfast, visit of a vineyard of Couchois, then you will end by a wine tasting*. 


Meeting with your guide speaker for a panoramic visit of Autun, a visit about The Gallo-Roman and medieval ages that shaped the town of Autun : the "Janus Temple", the "Door Saint-André and the "Arroux Door", The ramparts, the ancient theater, the cathedral... You will finish this visit with an incursion at the Rolin Museum where you can discover many works. (3 hours)

Day 3 :

Morning :
After the breakfast, go to the castle of Cormatin : built in the XVII century. The historical House has got extraordinary Interior Decorative Paints. The gardens "à la française" will delight enthusiasts of this type of gardening.


Afternoon : 
Discover of the "Cité-Abbaye of Cluny" : From the abbey park to the farmer of the monks, passing through the major ecclesia and the cloister of the XVIII century. The visit ends with a walk in the monastic village which still features some 150 medieval houses (2 hours).

Visit of the national stud farm.
