Youkali

A door slams shut, the absence hollowed out on the set. Has the mother left for a new love, leaving her two daughters behind? And who is this strange character, this kleptomaniac pianist who has broken into the room? The two sisters can't sleep. They bicker, sing and imagine what it's like to love. Carried along by the music, they drift off to Youkali, the imaginary island evoked by Kurt Weill's song, that other place in all of us.
