Théâtre : Confessions Secrètes

These are texts from the writings of the Tajik author Barzou ABDOURAZZOQOV from the book "8 women's monologues" which present stories of resilient women.
"Les Confessions Secrètes" is the name of the theatrical adaptation of this book in the form of a one-woman show that introduces us to seven women from different social backgrounds whose engaging personalities bring us back to our own humanity.
In turn funny, uplifting, tragic or light-hearted, their stories echo and refer to a certain conception of femininity.
These words also touch the sensitivity of men by evoking male portraits in parallel.
Between hope and despair, tears and smiles, their life stories touch us deeply and we take them with us.

THE GENESIS
This show originated from the desire to share the words of women, their feelings, during the festival "Le Doux-dit de la Mandorle" dedicated, for a weekend, to women.
Since then, this show has evolved and met with an audience that has been won over each time by the depth of the testimony of each of these characters.

THE COMEDIAN: NATHALIE BARTHALAIS

Actress, director and theatre teacher for 20 years. For 10 years, she directed the "Répliques à tout" troupe in CHALON SUR SAÔNE, with many successful projects.
She is now a member of the "Brûleurs de Planches" and the "Bands of Sharks".
She uses theatre as an educational tool in neighbourhood centres, in establishments for the disabled or with young secondary school students of foreign origin.
She is also a trainer of French as a foreign language for adults and a teacher of "Applied Relaxology".
She has long been interested in the cause of women and has staged and performed this show several times. Others are being written.

THE GROUP: "Les Brûleurs de Planches
The "Brûleurs de Planches" Company, based in CHALON SUR SAÔNE, was created in 2018 following the split of the "Répliques à tout" Company.
Its social object is the promotion of theatre as a "committed" art.
It provides theatre courses to adults and teenagers, with a strong social mediation value, especially in specific places (e.g.: neighbourhood houses...)
The company also develops workshops and various theatrical projects, with a requirement of quality and rigour. The present play is an example of these diversified and educational projects.
