His field agents are facing growing disbelief from mortals. Even the most experienced of them, Father Christmas, is threatening to go on strike after the humiliation he has suffered. Something must be done. A communications expert is brought in to try to dust off the image of the venerable institution and reform its management techniques. But are dreams commodities and can humanity be reduced to mere customers?
