Festival Belen : pique-nique des Chefs à Beaune

What if we went for a picnic in Beaune, in the Parc de la Bouzaize, in the shade of hundred-year-old trees, by the water, close to the famous vineyards!
Come and enjoy lunch with your family, your friends or your partner on Saturday 14 June 2025 at the Parc de la Bouzaize in Beaune.
A team of Beaune chefs will be preparing practical, gourmet picnic baskets, with vegetarians not forgotten.
You'll also discover, in your glass, the diversity of the delicious nectars of Beaune wines, but not only! Local beers and fruit juices will also be on offer.
Bring your checked tablecloths, hats and, above all, your good humour.

You can have lunch wherever you like in the park.

On the menu: produce from local farms, organic produce, a pig turning live on a spit, and a fine selection of Beaune appellation wines in your glasses. In short, a great Saturday in June for picnic fans and foodies alike!

- Starter 1 - Watercress coulis, soft-boiled egg, ornithogale, smoked pike-perch, crouton
Chef: restaurant La Table du Square, Romain Escoffier
- Entrée 2 - Salmon gravlax, wasabi, beetroot coulis.

- Hot dish: 2 options :
o Spit-roasted pork, new potatoes with wild garlic
OR
o Vegetarian dish: seasonal vegetable tarte tatin with wild garlic new potatoes

- Fromage blanc with herbs

- Winegrower's tart: sliced pears poached in red wine and spices, white wine sabayon, Breton shortbread (the alcohol disappears when cooked)

- 50cl bottle of "Velleminfroy" still water provided

Optional: in your glass: 3 glasses of wine, 8cl each, to choose from the selection of Beaune appellation wines offered by the winemakers; glass provided.

The Belenium brewery from Beaune will be selling local beers and fruit juices (extra charge).

Meals will start at midday and finish at 2pm.

Additional information:
You can print out your ticket or present your e-ticket on your smartphone to collect your picnic on the day as proof of purchase.
The Bouzaize park has two free car parks in the immediate vicinity.
Public toilets in the park (50 euro cents in change).
The park is accessible to pushchairs
Activities: small animal "farm" (free), boat hire (chargeable), theme trail, carousel (chargeable)
Waste separation bins available
Recyclable cutlery and paper napkins will be provided with picnic baskets
For picnics WITH WINE: a glass will be offered with the picnic
In case of bad weather: you can collect your picnic on the day; a marquee will be set up in the Parc de la Bouzaize.
