A conference on a reliquary hunt from the 15th century, a way to approach medieval spirituality.

The reliquary shrine of St Thomas of Canterbury is a gilded and painted 15th century work of art which is at the heart of a restoration project. This lecture will give us the opportunity to look again at the special place of relics in medieval spirituality, but also to question the work itself and its iconography.
Conference organised by the Friends of the Art Treasures of Notre Dame de Beaune, free of charge for the benefit of the association.
