Défi 24 !

The 24! Challenge, launched by Autun-based NGO Beogo Neere to help displaced schoolchildren in the village of Bonsomnoré in Burkina Faso, involves a 24-hour relay of runners and walkers around the Plan d'Eau du Vallon in Autun. The aim is to complete at least 2024 laps, or around 3,700 km, equivalent to the distance as the crow flies between Autun and Ouahigouya, the administrative centre of Bonsomnoré in Burkina Faso.
Free departures from the Espace Sport Nature du Plan d'Eau from Saturday 21 October at 2pm to Sunday 22 at 2pm. Free financial support.
Walking, running, Nordic walking. Accessible to PRM.

Challenge groups: schools, colleges, associations and companies, as well as individuals, can join together in mixed teams (any number from 5 people), with each team taking turns to complete as many laps as possible. Each lap completed earns the team one point. The team with the most points wins the "Défi 24".
