The Portrait of Madame Grassini (Marie-Guilhelmine Benoist), held by the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Beaune, will be at the heart of the subject, along with major works held in other museums such as Judith and Holofernes (Artemisia Gentileschi), La Paix ramenant l'abondance (Elisabeth Vigée-Le Brun) and The Large Figure Paintings (Hilma af Klint).
