The Brooks and their frenzied Funk make a stopover at the Lanterne Magique!

From Montreal to Paris, by way of Copenhagen, Morocco and Mexico, The Brooks have racked up successes wherever they go, leaving behind them an audience captivated by their talent and infectious energy, worthy of the biggest names on the Funk, Soul and R&B scene.

Led by trumpeter Alan Prater, famous for sharing the stage with Michael Jackson during the Thriller era and before that The Jackson Five, this octet has been racking up major performances around the world for ten years now, from the Montreal Jazz Festival to the famous Montreux Jazz Fest.

The baggage of the seven other musicians completes this line-up brilliantly, offering the audience an electrifying, dynamic exchange of energy and an experience of funky grooves and luminous soul. It's a performance that's a collective celebration of the present moment, while respecting the mythical musical influences of another era.

On 11 October, the Lanterne Magique will be the scene of a celebration, that of the group's tenth birthday, and they'll no doubt be preparing a few surprises for the occasion. It's impossible to resist the groove of Canadian band The Brooks.
