Championnat départemental de Hunter

The Château-Chinon stables are organising the departmental Hunter championship on Sunday 2 April in collaboration with the FFE and the CDE de la Nièvre. The rider-horse pairs will face different obstacle courses with particular specifications to be achieved (contract of strides, precise layout, passage through the studs, changes of gaits, etc.) on the imposed handling tests ranging from the club 4 (50cm) to the club Elite (90cm). Hunter is a federal discipline which consists of linking an obstacle course with the greatest possible harmony. Hunter Equitation competitions are designed to judge the competitor's position, riding ability and use of aids. Hunter Style competitions are intended to judge the model, locomotion and jumping style of the pony/horse. During the competition, the association will have a non-alcoholic refreshment bar and fast food.
