Championnat de France UNSS de VTT

Autun is hosting the French UNSS mountain bike championships. 600 students and 200 accompanying adults are expected to attend this national event.

The competition programme includes 3 events:
- enduro (or timed downhill)
- trials (handling course)
- Cross-country (long, timed course)
The events will be contested by teams of 4 students, who must be mixed. We will also be welcoming 'Shared Sport' teams, made up of able-bodied and disabled pupils.

The delegations, who have come from the four corners of France, will take part in a series of mountain biking events over the course of the day, as well as relaxing time to discover the town of Autun and take part in a variety of sporting activities (paddles, beach volleyball, swimming, canoeing, etc.).

A show, open to the public and free of charge, will take place on Thursday in the heart of the Roman Theatre, at around 8.30pm. The programme for the evening includes
- the circus school from Anne Frank College in Montchanin
- show trial vélo Infinity Street Cie feat Simon MASI
This major competition will come to an end on Friday with the presentation of trophies and medals. The ceremony will take place in the theatre at around 1.30pm.
